Music Industry Executive Emily White Joins Grounded's Impact Division
Grounded Foundation is thrilled to welcome Emily White as our Special Advisor for Music Industry Strategy.
White is a leader at the intersection of music, philanthropy, and civic engagement. As a Partner at Collective Entertainment and Founder of #iVoted Concerts, she has built groundbreaking initiatives that have engaged millions of music fans and industry leaders in civic participation and social change. She is also the host of the #1 global music business podcast, How to Build a Sustainable Music Career and Collect All Revenue Streams, based on her best-selling book of the same name.
At Grounded, White will play a key role in advancing initiatives that unite philanthropy and the music industry to:
✅ Expand the U.S. skilled workforce through TradesForce, a national campaign connecting workers with high-quality jobs in America's growing clean economy.
✅ Develop strategies to integrate music industry infrastructure into disaster recovery efforts.
✅ Support groundbreaking ecosystem restoration projects that strengthen local economies.
White also serves as a Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins University’s SNF Agora Institute, where she explores how cultural strategies can drive civic engagement, including increasing voter participation through music.
